App shows a red notification circle with no notification. 

EQUALLY CONFUSING IS THIS POST REQUIREMENT THAT THE DESCRIPTION MUST CONTAIN 20 CHARACTERS

Sorry for the confusion. Please tell us which app is showing this red notification circle with no notification. Are you experiencing any issues with your service and expecting an update?

The Xfinity App is the one showing a red dot with no notification or alert when opened. I have no service issues or expected updates.

Thank you for the clarification @oldlock161. Here are some steps you can try to remove that red notification circle.

 

1. Try pulling down/releasing the screen to refresh the page.

2. Log out of the app and sign back in to see if that notification goes away.

3. Delete the Xfinity App then reload it.

I love all the resolutions here.  None are actually legitimate with respect to viewing or clearing an alert.  Is it a bug?  Why can’t devs resolve this rather than deleting and reinstalling?
