App Says "Internet Off Line" But Internet Is OK
This is same issue as other customer
App on phone says modem off line but internet is fine. Thread closed.
i have been fighting this for a week. i did all trouble shooting before calling.
Called 3 times got a lot of advice and did it all:
(cycle modem, closed open App. Update App, clear cache, clear data, delete reloaded app, remote reset from mother ship, promptedto mske service appt). No success.
Told Ticket open and would get a call. No call. No call and found later out no ticket.
Told a service appr set Sat 10a. It was canceled with no notification. (called Friday night, automatic system said no appt. Called agent to confirm canceled. Fine but at least tell me).
Xfinity customer service is nice usually. Friday May 2 evening Vivek was rude and indifferent. Interrupted me with "that is correct". Told him I owned modem, "I don't need to know that". Good gosh. I guess I'll do without App. He was fine with that. Thanks for nothing.
So Xfinity please fix it like you did for other customer with no resets or effort remotely.

We are a full service team, so you've come to the right place. When you open the app, do you also have limited access? For example, when you open the app, do you have any options to manage your network like view or change the WiFi name?
