Adding my secondary comcast email account to android email
Out of nowhere, my second Comcast email account stopped working on my phone. My primary account works fine. I deleted the account and attempted to add it again, but keep getting a message that says “unable to validate account”. It is fine on my iPad and my computer. Tech support says it is a known issue, and they are working on it. They have been working on it for a while and I have doubts they have an interest in resolving this. Comcast has been downgrading email access starting with the elimination of the Xfinity Connect app (which was widely used). The Xfinity app that replaced it results in a lot of spam that I don’t get on my other devices. Very frustrating and inconvenient.
