Accidentally Forgot Device and Now Cannot Reconnect

I accidentally hit forget device on the Xfinity app for my treadmill on my home WiFi network. I didn’t recognize the device but later found out it was my treadmill. My mistake...

I’ve tried every link and app and even video relating to trying to add a device again. No luck. Customer service on chat didn't even help me. Very frustrating experience. It is not even showing up under my Devices at all.

Any suggestions? It’s driving me crazy....

Hello, @user_d75e92. Thank you for reaching out. I see you have a situation where you can no longer get your treadmill back on the home network after it removing it from the Xfinity App. Does the treadmill itself have an app that you use to get it connected, or is it connected another way? Can you let me know the process you are using to get it back online?

@XfinityVianney the treadmill uses the wifi to connect and I have the iFit app on the treadmill that I use. But, since I paused and forgot the device, the wifi no longer will connect on it and the device is no longer listed under my devices on my Xfinity app, so I can’t fix it. I’ve tried forgetting the network on the treadmill and then reconnect it to the wifi after, but that didn’t work either, unfortunately. I’m not sure how to unforget the device when I can’t see the device on my app. Any advice or help would be so appreciated. If I can’t connect to the wifi, I can’t use any of the apps or special features on my treadmill.

Thank you for all the details, and you did a lot of what I would have done as well. I appreicate you being proactive and doing all this already. We do advise forgetting the network from the device as well, and I see this didn't help. I'm sorry to hear that. If you have xFi Advance Secuirty enabled, there could be a chance it detected the device as a general threat when trying to connect after being forgotten from the app. This link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/using-xfinity-xfi-advanced-security will cover the Security Dashboard and how find these threats/alerts.

If you see the treadmill listed, you can still allow access to potentially blocked devices. The steps are in the same link provided above which I will post here as well

- Allow Access: In the Xfinity app, tap on the Security tab and then Advanced Security to view the security risk Dashboard. Find the list of security risks, identify the unauthorized access attempt for the device you want to provide access to, and follow the instructions to Allow Access.

Let me know if that helps or if that doesn't apply.

@XfinityVianney Hello, thank you for your help. I just checked and I do not have Advanced Security turned on, so unfortunately this does not apply. Anything else I can do?

Do you know what kind of operating system your treadmill is using?

I no longer work for Comcast.

@XfinityKimberlyB This is the one I have, but I don't see the OS listed on the Specs. https://www.proform.com/treadmills/carbon-t10

I contacted the company, so hopefully they can let me know.
