Access not Authorized

When trying to log into the Xfinity app I get "Access not Authorized You signed in successfully, but you must be an Xfnity user to enjoy this service." When I check my account it shows that I have an active service. I am trying to get into the app to get my Xfinity Gateway setup and going through the app is, apparently, the only way to do it.
