ANSWERED: Get your X1 menu in Spanish

Learn how to change menus and guide language from English (U.S.) to Spanish using the Xfinity X1 On-Screen Guide. You can now view the X1 guide in Canadian English, too.


Change the X1 menu language from the Settings menu


To get to Menu Language Settings:

  1. Press the xfinity button on your remote.
  2. Use the right arrow or left arrow button on your remote to select the gear icon. Press the OK button on your remote to access the Settings menu.

  3. Use the up arrow or down arrow button to highlight Language, then press the OK button on your remote.

  4. Using the down arrow button on your remote, highlight Menu Language and press the OK button on your remote.

  5. Using the down arrow button on your remote, highlight Español or English (Canada) and press the OK button on your remote.

  6. To confirm changing your menus and guide language to Spanish or Canadian English, highlight OK on the screen and then press the OK button on your remote.

Note: If you changed your language setting to Spanish, most navigational content will be in Spanish. Examples include:

Main menu:

Main menu provided in Spanish.

Programming info and options in the guide:

Programming information and guide provided in Spanish.

Record options:

Record options provided in Spanish.

Settings menu:

Settings menu provided in Spanish.

Search:

Search screen provided in Spanish.


Note: To change the menu back to English, repeat the same steps and select English.

 

Change the X1 menu language from Search

  1. While watching TV, use your remote keypad to type the word Español (keys: 3772665).
  2. Use the up arrow or down arrow button to highlight the Language Settings Menu option, then press the OK button on your remote.

  3. Use the Pg down or down arrow button to go to the bottom, highlight Menu Language and press the OK button on your remote.
  4. Using the down arrow button on your remote, highlight Español (EE. UU.) and press the OK button on your remote.
  5. To confirm changing your menus and guide language to Spanish, highlight OK on the screen and then press the OK button on your remote.

 

Change the X1 menu language with a voice command

  1. Say "Spanish Menu" into the Voice Remote.
    Language options screen. Espanol option is second on the list.
  2. Using the down arrow button on your remote, highlight Español (EE. UU.) and press the OK button on your remote.
  3. To confirm changing your menus and guide language to Spanish, highlight OK on the screen and then press the OK button on your remote.
