Hello, I purchased a new internet service plan today and have verified my email. I never got a confirmation email and the screen says "Your new account will be available shortly". How long does it take to create a new account? I'd also like to know if my purchase went through and avoid purchasing again.

Generally, when you make a new account it's going to take about 24 hours. I would check back in sometime tomorrow. If you would like to check on your account and make sure it is at least started, I can do that, but I wouldn't be able to give you much more than confirmation than that. You can send me a DM with your name and your full address to check that if you would like. You can send that DM by following these directions: 

To send a direct message you may need to:

Click "Sign In"

Click the "direct message" icon

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

Hi - I'm having the same issue as Rob. How can I confirm my order went through and if I should set up a new account or not? Thanks
