Xfinity ID not recognized as a customer even though Internet is active

I’m a new Xfinity Internet customer. My Internet service is active and I’m currently connected to my new Xfinity Wi-Fi, but my account is not being recognized correctly.

I can successfully sign into my Xfinity ID, and I have received emails from Xfinity confirming my new Internet service and Wi-Fi information. However:

  • The Xfinity app says: “You must be an Xfinity user to enjoy this service.”
  • Xfinity Mobile says I’m not a customer.
  • On the Xfinity website, after signing in, I get: “Something unexpected happened. Try refreshing the page.”

I’m wondering if my Xfinity ID has not been properly linked to my active Internet account, or if there is an issue with the account association/default service address or provisioning.

My Internet connection itself works normally. The problem appears to be with my Xfinity account being recognized across the website/app/Xfinity Mobile.

Could an Xfinity employee please check whether my Xfinity ID is properly associated with my active Internet account and whether there are any duplicate, unlinked, or incorrectly associated accounts/services?

I also currently do not have an active phone number, so I would need to resolve this through online support/chat if possible.

Wysprrz, thank you for stopping in for help with your online account not reflecting your services. If, for any reason, there was an issue with your login information being connected to your account details, all you would need to do is set up your Xfinity ID again. If you check out this page here you can see how to go through that process.
