Xfinity email account being disconnected after canceling my internet service

Even after logging into my Xfinity email account on there website within 30 days prior to canceling our internet service why has my email account been disconnected?


I received a random email from the sender DIRECT LINE on Friday 6/12/26 stating I need to follow the web link they provided and update my email application before 

Monday 6/15/26. 
Today Sunday 6/14/26 I just clicked on the link provided by DIRECT LINE and it took me to a Xfinity Blog web address which walked me through creating an account for the blog.

Why was my email account shut down on Saturday 6/13/26?

And, what do I need to do to reactivate my email account?
