Xfinity Account Transfer

Hi, I would like to transfer my account to a new tenant. We cannot go to a store in person. I would like to hand over full ownership to him and do not want any more involvement with the account.

Thanks in advance!

Note: I originally opened a ticket through an Xfinity Assistant line, but it was closed with no action taken.

@user_0cihew The easiest way is in person at a store, as they can verify the ID's and process the change immediately. If you prefer to do it online, the steps are here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/account-ownership-change, and you can use this https://www.xfinity.com/support/account-management/bereavement link to start the request. You'll be asked to upload the documents within a few days once you get a response. There may be a chance the current account is closed, and a new account is created for the person that remains and needs the service.

Is there a way we can submit our personal identification documents separately from one another in the interest of privacy?

@user_0cihew That can be done in person, where each party can present what they need directly to the agent. Otherwise the account owner would be in charge of submitting the documents, and working with the receiving party to upload theirs, as you're entrusting the account to them. Try it, we do try to keep all accounts safe from unnecessary or unapproved changes.

Hi, it's been a few weeks since I've submitted the form with all the relevant and it doesn't seem like anything has changed. Should I resubmit?
