WILL NOT stay logged into account on xfinity.com
new account here.
equipment set up and works great. PROBLEM is, I cannot access my account on Xfinity.com either
for Support.
for Billing.
to Add Mobile.
to check on my TV Streaming box that never arrived.
to Rate Service.
to Stream TV Content.
I have tried to resolve using the website. NOTHING
I have tried to resolve using the Xfinity assistance. this is actually laughable because each menu item is designed to keep you away from a chat rep for assistance. ANd alwaysw ends in a deathloop of signing and requesting help back to sign in back to requesting help... makes one want to punch a baby.
I have called in and talked to support rep. he told me the only way to resolve is to login on the website. Had no interest in helping me.
I then called and talked to a sales rep to at least order my mobile phone as I currently do not have one ( so the Xfinity app I can not access) - the sales rep said that without my account NUMBER, I would have to waiot and resolve. ( this is a first, a mobile phone sales rep not wanting to sell me a phone? He sent me off to get signed in online and then make sure I talk to him only , because he wants credit for the sale - because of all th hard work hes done)
What is REALLY a race to the bottom after I became new customer - a quick search of the forums . and over 100 posts about this issue .. stretched over 2 years, Xfinity never addressing the issue , and asking all of the OPs to direct message them - so that no mention of a resolution is ever offered, and shows that Xfinity has a resolution and is keeping customers who are experiencing identical issues in the dark . - so, I'm sure you know what the issue is .
I visit the xfinity.com website . It has me login. I enter user name and password.
It will show logged in, and I then navigate to what are I need and no matter where that is, the site resets back to the login page.
I sign in again and it repeats this behavior.
The only time I get a different result - is if I go to the account or billing page. and it will then freeze .. never opening another page.
... so, resolution?
And you can skip the step here you tell me I need the Xfinity app because I cant order a smartphone to do this.
I can also save you the " did you delete cache / cookies - YUP no effect
I am checking Stay Logged In . No effect
I have checked cookie settings. All permissions are set correctly.
I have used three different browsers. CHROME, EDGE, OPERA
I have used 3 different computers. Lenovo Desktop , Windows 11
HP Laptop, windows 10
iMac with newest OSX. All have same result.
So I have internet that I cannot use. cannot upgrade, and cannot get support for.
Also, its been over a week and none of my TV equipment has even arrived yet.
Confidence is LOW.
