Why do I keep getting emails about how my payment didn't go through. Comcast has always sent me a paper bill. Is this a scam email.
Getting emails about how my payment couldn't be processed but Xfinity/Comcast has always sent me a paper bill. Are these emails scam. I habe tried to take care of this online and I cannot get past me signing in and then when I try to do something and click on payment plans I get an error.

Hello @user_b9d12r, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Sorry to hear about the confusion and frustration you've been experiencing. I can certainly understand why receiving repeated emails stating that a payment could not be processed would be concerning, especially when you've traditionally received paper bills and are now running into errors when trying to review your account online. One way to help determine whether the email is legitimate is to click on the sender's name in the "From" section of the message and view the actual email address it was sent from. If the email is truly from Xfinity or Comcast, the sender's address should match an official company domain. Scam emails often use addresses that look similar but contain misspellings, extra characters, or unrelated domains.
No worries. We'd be happy to review your account with you to help determine whether the email is legitimate and check the current status of your account. We can also look into the errors you're receiving when attempting to access the payment section online and help identify the best path forward. For your privacy and the security of your account, if you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, we'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
