Why did my account get terminated

I’m so upset because my account was terminated I never did that so why don’t I have Internet that I pay for 

Did you recently move into a new residence that was occupied previously?  If so, chances are the previous tenant has an outstanding account that needs to be paid.  If this is the case you'll need to take your lease/mortgage and an ID to a store and show them you are the current occupant so that they can clear the former occupant from the residence.  [An account is tied to a residence, not to a person.]  Your service can then be restored.
