Why am I asked to verify my browser every time I signin

Every time I sign in on my PC. I am sent a code that I have to key in.

I check off the box that says to allow this browser.

It does the same no matter what browser I use.

This just started to happen a few days ago.

I am getting tired of it to be honest.

I am having this problem also!! What do I have to do to stop it. It is irritating

Greetings, @pmv1631 and @c-l-letavec! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your logins, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

The process you are describing sounds like "Two-Step Verification". I actually have the same issue with my own login, but I set it up that way on purpose. You should be able to log in and disable it by going into "Settings", then "Xfinity ID & Password", then set "Two-Step Verification" to "Off".

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with this. It may take a day or two for the changes to become permanent, but it usually depends on what part of the country you are in.

Thanks James,  This is much more helpful than the hour I spent chatting with three different agents on Comcast Help which left me hanging with no answer to my problem.
