Unlink Old, Inactive account

Hello, I have the same issue as in this thread:

Since 2 accounts are linked when I try to log into xfinity stream on my mobile device, for some reason it connects to the inactive account rather than the one with active services.  Not sure why it would do that but nevertheless....

 

Can someone point me into the direction to getting this fixed?  I've spoken with 3 agent and none of them knew how to fix it.  They tried changing infomation on the inactive one, which ultimately results in the same changes on the active one.  Need completely disassociated the inactive account from my details.  

 

On a side note, not sure why they wouldn't just automatically delete these inactive accounts after a certain amount of time OR make the mobile apps smarter to pick the correct account or allow you select the correct account.  But I digress.  Please help.

Just to note I found a temporary solution by adding a new user to the active account.  Since the user won't get added to the inactive account, using those credentials will log me into to the correct account on xfinity stream.  It works for now but would really like to get that old account removed altogether.

I have the same issue. I have spoken to 2 agents over the phone, and they have not been able to resolve it. I would like some assistance as well

Hi there,

 

If you've linked two accounts and one of them is a secondary user linked to a primary, you can have the primary remove the linked secondary (My Account --> Users --> Remove), and they will only show up on the secondary's account. 

 

If you need to set your default account across all the apps including Stream so it doesn't show your old account, you can do so here:
