Unable to remove this service error

I'm receiving an error when trying to remove TV service from my account. The message says it is part of a package deal, or you may be under a term agreement for a specific period of time. There is no term agreement on my current package and it's not part of a deal unless it is counting a multi product discount. Why am I receiving this error? The AI assistant is not helpful at all in this situation (or really at anything other than linking to the same page that shows this error or other forever looping webpages that never load).

Good evening @user_l394ot, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums, we hope you are having a fantastic Tuesday. I see that you are running into issues removing your TV service. We can assist with repackaging your services and removing TV. To get started, can you please send us a Direct Message with your first and last name along with the address on the account?

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
