Unable to login to my account

I am unable to login from the browser or app. Keep getting the error saying something when wrong in the browser and similar error on the Xfinity apps. 

Tried different devices and browsers but all return the same error.

I experience the same issue from time to time so I understand the inconvenience that this can cause. You’ve reached the perfect virtual door to knock on for issues such as this. Can you tell me if you’ve experienced this issue on multiple devices?

@user_63977a have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the application? Does this happen when connected to your in-home network or cellular data?

Yes, it’s happening on cellular connection as well as on WiFi. How would reinstalling the app help with fixing this issue with the browser as well?

Thank you for patiently waiting for a response. Reinstalling the app would not work with the browser. I apologize for the confusion. Have you tried restarting the computer and another browser? Another option I would try is to clear cache and cookies to see if you experience the same issue. How does this sound?

Yes, as I mentioned in my original post, I have already tried this with different browser and cleaning the cache

Hello @user_a9db3c. I am sorry to hear that you are having issues logging into your account. I would love to get your account pulled up and start getting this resolved. Please send me a direct message with your first and last name, along with your complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.   

Here are detailed steps to direct message us:  

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary 
  • Click the direct message icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list 
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
  • Press Enter to send your message
