Unable to activate Peacock subscription

I have a Peacock subscription included in my xfinity account that needs to be activated. When I tried to connect it, it told me "Your Xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account," but I never did anything like this.

Hello @pizzahutpzone If you are getting that message it usually means your email is linked to Peacock Profile. Have you ever used Peacock previously directly with Peacock?

@XfinityMatthew​ i had a previous Xfinity account linked to peacock which has since expired, and I use the same email address across Xfinity and peacock.
