Two homes in two different states. Same account?
We are buying a second home. We will live at both places but a few months of the year at one place and a few months at the other. We have X1 preferred triple play w Comcast st house #1. Can we get the internet and tv streaming at the new house on the same account? The new house is Comcast wired. We would not be in both homes at the same time.

Hello @dak77!
I'm glad you chose to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums!
You've come to the right place and we would love to help answer any questions you have during this exciting process with your second home.
Each Xfinity account is unique to a single address and customer. When a customer moves, they get a new account number. While you won't be able to have two addresses under a single account number, you can have more than one account number.
Depending on where the second home is located, it may be in a different region and may not be eligible for all the same promotions as the other account.
Depending on when you are at each home, using seasonal holds may work well for you. You can find more info here: https://comcastseasonal.com/ but in short, you would be able to pay a reduced price for soft-disconnected services while you are away and unable to use the service and then you can simply end the hold when you return while saving yourself the hassle of possible re-connect fees and installs.
If you still haven't set up install at your new home or checked for serviceability, we can help you with that here too! Please send us a Direct Message with your first and last name as well as your service address so we can assist.
To send a Direct Message, please click on the chat icon on the top right of this page, next to the bell. Make sure to send the message to our singular handle "Xfinity Support" and we will get back to you ASAP.
