transfer ownership of account

Hello, I'm trying to take myself off of this current account. I will be moving and have already transferred the primary user role to someone else who will be taking over (they will be staying in the registered address). They have also input their new payment info to replace mine. Just want to know if there's any other steps I need to take. Thank you!

Hi there, @user_5c123b. Thanks for including us in the trip to your new home. It can be a stressful time. I hope that it's a smooth transition. 

 

You did great by changing everything from what's available to you from a billing standpoint. However, we'll still need to transfer full ownership of the account from the credit reporting side of things.

 

We can submit the account change request together. Let's meet in DM to begin. 

 

To send a direct message [private message]:

  •    Click "Sign In" if necessary
  •    Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://comca.st/3vohkVw
  •    Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  •    The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
  •    - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  •    - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  •    Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  •    Press Enter to send it
