Transfer account ownership

I need to transfer the account to my roommate as I am moving. The xfinity customer service line disconnects you after clicking through automated options and the transfer process is for bereavement cases only. I just need my roommate to take over the account. Can I get the paperwork sent to my email to start this process? Or how do I do this? What should I say to get the specialized representatives on the phone for this issue?

user_e71oli Thanks for reaching out for help with doing a transfer of responsibility to your roommate. You and your roommate can both go into a store near you to get it done the same day, or we can put in a ticket to have our team that works with these requests to help you remotely. The ticket will take a bit longer though due to security reason given you won't be in person to request this. If you would like us to get the ticket in for you we would be more than happy to help.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" If necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".

Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
