Setting up Xfinity account to purchase internet plan with student discount- but can't verify my ID by my birthdate

Hi - I'm trying to set up Xfinity internet with student discount. I have been able to set up an account (verify email and phone number) but I can't verify my ID using my birth date. I also went to the store today and they said the system is down and they can't help me with student discount offers. Is there any other way I can verify my identity?
