Schedule Disconnect of Service

Due to continuous performance issues in my areas and the size of price increase during my term I would like to schedule the internet service to be disconnected at the end of the current cycle.

Good afternoon @JB17, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums.

I completely understand your concerns, and I'm sorry to hear that the ongoing service issues and recent price increase have led you to consider disconnecting your service. We're happy to review the service concerns you've been experiencing and explore options to help with your billing concerns.

If you'd still like to move forward with scheduling a disconnection, we can certainly assist with processing that request. However, we'd welcome the opportunity to review your account first to see if there are any available promotions or solutions that may better meet your needs.

Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
  3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.
