Requesting Direct Message to Fix Account Verification

Hello, upon calling customer service, they were unable to add my date of birth to my profile.  I need this added to get through the process online for a promotion verification.  Despite entering my Xfinity credentials, entering the direct text code, it still wants this information.  According to customer service they did not have an option to add to my profile and found out through the online forums that can be done here.

Hi there, @user_0pfe8m I'm very sorry for the trouble you are having trying to add your birthdate. We do appreciate you reaching out on Xfinity Forums! I do apologize we do not have a way to add your birthdate as well, updating a date of birth (DOB) for verification requires specific security protocols, as agents we cannot manually enter this information directly to prevent fraud. What is the promotion that you are trying to sign up for?-Richard

Then how does this information get updated? If it is something Xfinity prompts users to enter there must be a way for the information to be tied to your account.  Xfinity is asking for information that they don’t have in file for users but it gives them no way to add it?

In a situation like that, visiting a local Xfinity store with a valid government ID would be necessary.

Ok. In general this seems like a lot of hoops to jump through. It’s pretty crazy how Xfinity is requiring this information yet doesn’t even have it on my account and requires me to go in person to add it.
