Problem with new account and service setup
Hello, I have signed up through the website for new internet service at my address and went through the process of creating an Xfinity ID as part of the signup. I scheduled an install date and I was charged a $1 holding fee to the card I will be using for autopay. I received an email upon creation of my account to verify my email. I am able to login on the Xfinity website using the username and password I set up. However, when I went to verify under my account or view my bill these errors appear.
"Sorry, A communication error has occurred. We have been notified and are looking into the issue. Please try reloading the page or coming back later."
"We're sorry. The credentials you have entered are invalid. Please check your credentials."
I also get this error when signing in on the Xfinity app:
"Access not Authorized. You are signed in successfully, but you must be an Xfinity user to enjoy this service."
I have already tried clearing cache and cookies and tried different browsers as well. I have also tried the “let’s find your xfinity ID” page and it was unable to find my ID under the number and email address I used to setup the account.
I would like to know that my setup for new service went through properly. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
