Primary user has been switched to member status

How do I switch back to primary status in my online xfinity account when it's been somehow changed to member status?  I have no way of changing it back - I sign-in using correct info, changed password as directed, try to access bill and it denies access due to being a member.  I can use xfinity app on phone, but not desktop or tablet.

To change user roles on an Xfinity account, sign in to xfinity.com as the Primary user, navigate to the Account Details section, and click on the user whose role you wish to change. Under their permissions, select "Change Permissions" and choose the desired role, confirming the change. 

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

  1. 1. Sign in as Primary User:

Access your Xfinity account online at xfinity.com using the Primary user's Xfinity ID and password.

  1. 2. Locate User:

In the Account Details section, find the user whose role you want to modify.

  1. 3. Change Permissions:

Click on the user's name and then select "Change Permissions" under their user information.

  1. 4. Choose Role:

Select the new role you want to assign to the user from the available options (e.g., Manager, Member, Viewer).

  1. 5. Confirm:

Confirm the changes by clicking "Confirm permissions" or a similar button. A confirmation message will appear once the role has been successfully updated.
