Please send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account.
To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.

Hello,

I would also like to permanently close my xfinity account.  The account has no service associated with it.

Please close my account and credit back the time I haven’t had my Xfinity router online. It’s been almost 3 months.

When my account is closed I’ll mail back the Xfinity router. Please send me a prepaid postage to my email or address.

Thanks in advance.

user_s5s92r Hello and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. We’re sorry to hear that you haven’t been able to use your service for the past few months, and we certainly want to help you get this resolved as quickly as possible. We can definitely assist with the process of closing your account and providing the information you need for your equipment return. Regarding your request for a service credit, our team will need to review your account history to see what options are available.

To get started with the cancellation and look into the billing details, please send us a direct message with the following information:

  • Your Full Name

  • The Service Address associated with the account

To send a "Direct Message":

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

We look forward to assisting you further.
