password reset

I am almost once a week being asked to reset my password when I try to access my xfinity e-mail. I have read online that this seems to be an xfinity issue. Many people are having this problem. This needs to be fixed. Its very annoying

Hi there @bama1boy, this is not an Xfinity issue, this is an issue with your account not being secured and triggering our password reset triggers (lots of customers have been compromised repeatedly and also have this misunderstanding).

Jonathon,

           I am in IT. I have multiple antivirus programs on my pc's that I run everyday. There is nothing on my pc's that would be causing this issue. Do youself a favor and google the issue. You will find plenty of cases where comcast customers were having this issue back in January and February of this year and comcast customer service replied with we are working on the issue. It is happening again.

I am getting this reset request, too, at lease once a week. I have several browsers, so I can only guess that they are seeing two logni "sources" because they see different HTTP headers User-Agent strings. These reset requests are very annoying, and are not caused by owned accounts or hacking. Something is messed up with the Authentication system.
