Old account is conflicting with me new account and I can manage or add my email or phone number to new account

Hi, I recently made a Xfinity account as I'm switching to Xfinity for my internet provider. I previously had a registered account as a 'Member' role as it was my parents account and that was nearly a decade ago when I was living with them. Problem is that 'Member' account has my phone and email associated with it, so now that I have my own account for me to manage, I cannot add phone or email to the account because it is "associated with another account" but I can seem to remove my information from the 'member' account as the only option is to replace the phone number or email with another number, which then requires verification, of which I don't have a second phone, nor email I want to use (or even set up a new one). If I could just completely delete my 'membership' to my old account (my parents still use it so not delete the entire account), or even if I could just remove my number and email. I am just kind of stuck in a loop and can't seem to figure out how to get help with this issue. But to be clear, I do not need or use my old Xfinity Account, and just want to be able to register my contact information to my new account.

Hello user_qmuyze thank you so much for taking the time reach us here via our Xfinity Forums! We'd love to help with this Member to Primary concern. In order to help with this, we would need your role on the account to be upgraded to Manager, can you help us with that?
