Need to transfer ownership of account

Hi, I am moving and want to transfer ownership of my Xfinity account to another tenant who is staying in the apartment. I see that I can "transfer primary rights" to him through the account management page, but when I choose this option it states that I will continue to be financially responsible for the account as the original owner. I want to transfer ALL responsibility for the account to my roommate and remove myself from the account completely. How do I do this?

jamorlan, Ah, okay. To start the transfer of ownership process, you can start here at this link. Once clicking on the link you will be taken to a screen that asks to review these steps.

1.        Tell us whether you'd like to transfer account ownership or close the account.

 

2.        Provide the document(s) required for your chosen action.

 

3.        Provide information for both the account holder and yourself.

After reviewing, click continue. You will then do a quick security check and hit continue. Please let me know if this helps and how you would like to proceed. Please let us know if this helps.
