Need to change my legal name
Hello - my name has legally changed and I need to update it with Xfinity. Instructions stated to "Direct Message" support but I can't find that option anywhere. I can submit documentation if requested I just need to know how to reach the right people.

@daisymaezzy We'll need to open a ticket for you to get that information updated in our billing system and the legal side of things. You'll also need to update your name on your Xfinity ID by logging into your settings page, select Xfinity ID and Security, under your name you'll see the option to edit. If you could please send me a DM with your first and last name along with your full-service address, we can get started.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right corner
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
