Need to add authorized user for equipment return but I can't because "This account is no longer active. Users cannot be added."

I have deactivated my account because I moved. I need to add an authorized user so that my roommate can return the equipment. When I go to my account settings online it says

"This account is no longer active. Users cannot be added."

Will anyone be able to return the equipment at any xfinity location? Thanks.

user_9yjauo - Yes. Include your account number when working with our team in store when turning in your Xfinity equipment. You will receive a receipt for proof of return.
