login to Xfinity without third party tools

When trying to login I enter a valid user name and password

Security question - Enter email address (must be a non comcast/xfinity) for verification code

I don't have one so I say "ask me later"

Security question - #Enter phone number to get text with verification code.

I don't have a device that gets text messages so I say "ask me later"

Now I have an infinite loop -- enter third party email / enter smart phone number / enter third party email / enter smart phone number / enter third party email / enter smart phone number / enter third party email / enter smart phone number....

Tried to get third party email but they insist on texting me an activation code which I cannot receive.

The Xfinity assistant had a solution They gave me my user name then 3 options -- change my user name, change my password or add/delete a user.

I can't login graqcefully

I( got here bu logging in and out / timing out and just re-entering a password and somehow I was mobile verified.

Greetings, @user_625caf! Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your login, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

 

It sounds like you are having issues with the two-step verification. I know how frustrating that whole process can be. It took me a while to get that sorted out for my own account last year. When the Xfinity Assistant gave you your username, was it the same one you were trying previously, or was it a new one?
