Locked Out of Xfinity Account, Password Reset Not Working
I switched to Xfinity wifi recently and upon making an account it seems somehow Xfinity merged my information with my dad's (separate account and different addresses). My primary email is still stuck to his account when I added it years ago to help him with any reset issues, so I am trying to get my email off his account and onto mine, and he has been unable to log in to his account or comcast email for the past 2 weeks. I was able to get into my account and get his info off of mine but his account is totally screwed up.
Very frustrated with Xfinity phone support and their lack of case reference numbers putting me back to square one every time I call. The issue is when I go to Xfinity.com/password to attempt a reset and type a new password in, I get an error screen that says, "Let's try that again, something went wrong" with a link to "try again" that goes nowhere. This is clearly an Xfinity system issue. I hope they have an alternate form of resetting the password because that page is not working whatsoever for his account. The weird part is the primary user of the account is able to log in no problem and view settings, etc. but he is not able to get in at all and separate my information from his. The biggest issue for him is his @comcast email is his primary means of communication and he has been unable to access it for 2 weeks now.
This issue needs to be corrected immediately, we are collectively tired of being run in circles on the phone and scoffed at for telling the person on the line that we've followed their same directions numerous times and they will not work. Please put me into contact with someone that is capable of addressing this issue as the fix has to come from the Xfinity side, there is no action that will unlock this account from our end. He will be cancelling the service completely (understandably if its unusable) if this is not resolved.

@Conor4011 Very sorry for what is going on so far with the email account. We can help if you are the primary user on the account. If your dad is, then he'll have to reach out over our Forum pages so we can help. If you are the primary user, please let us know and we'll continue. We would hate to see him leave because of this!

@Conor4011 Understood. Kudos for reaching out about this. His girlfriend can create a post or even reply to your post about the concern. If that's possible. Then we can help.
Another way is to reach out to us over Reddit as well. Our team works on that platform too. https://www.reddit.com/r/Comcast_Xfinity/
