Linking multiple accounts - Not Ready for prime time

I have four properties with xfinity service. I have been trying for years to link them so they can managed by one username/password, one mobile phone number (most people don't have multiple phones), and so I can receive monthly bills via email at one email address. (Today the system DOES NOT let you use your mobile phone or email across multiple accounts which makes no sense.) I have had many lengthy calls with advanced support, and even they can't get it to work. Comcast: are you actually going to fix this problem after all this time??

Hello, @bholding. Thank you for your choice in service providers, and for providing your detailed feedback. I hear what you're saying and wanted to help so you're able to switch between your multiple accounts quickly and easily. You can use one Xfinity ID to link multiple accounts and addresses which should help for this situation. When you have a moment can you try following the steps shown here and let me know if you run into any issues along the way? Thank you! How to Link, Unlink, and Switch Between Multiple Xfinity Accounts.

@XfinityThomasA Thank you for your note, but it doesn't work. I've tried multiple times, as have your own employees. I would be happy to provide you with my login info if you feel that you can get it working, but I believe there continue to be problems with the platform. This also becomes even more problematic because one of the properties is in Florida. If you think you can get it working please let me know and we can talk offline - thanks

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.

To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it

I no longer work for Comcast.

I've had multiple discussions with support, and it looks like the Xfinity platform doesn't enable what I'm trying to do. I have four separate properties with Xfinity, and I'm trying to have the monthly bills for these all emailed to the same gmail account - where all my other bills are sent. Xfinity doesn't support this - even with linking. The platform does not permit user to enter a mobile phone number or email if it's already associated with another account  - even if it's yours. I've been chatting with a number of other users who are in the same position, and they are also frustrated - it feels like the security concerns have gone too far and are now hamstringing the platform from being useful. Why should Comcast subscribers need to set up additional email accounts just to receive their bills?

@bholding Your feedback has been passed along concerning extending the ability to link accounts using a third part email. We currently do have the ability to link your Xfinity accounts to one Xfinity ID/Comcast email address. In previous years that was not available and each account was completely separated. Here is the link showing how to link your Xfinity accounts to one Xfinity ID/Comcast email address. https://comca.st/3w3OeKa

I use my Comcast email as my primary personal email account. I then also have a separate email account that I use for all my bills being sent to me online. I want to keep these separate so I don't flood my personal account with bills, plus it's easier to track all the bills in one place. The linking option you're proposing doesn't work for this, because I don't believe Xfinity allows you to have two separate Comcast email accounts open in the same browser at the same time (so you can easily go back and forth). This is why I use gmail for my billing emails. I suppose if you could fix this issue it might work? Otherwise, it would be good to enable linking multiple xfinity accounts to a third party email (like gmail). BTW, did you determine if it's possible to link accounts in both Massachusetts and Florida?
