Issues logging into the website, requires multiple log-ins.

I have been having issues with the website recently where I get in, select an item to go to and then I get logged out and requested to log in again.  I have cleared cache, used a different browser, done all the normal items that would be asked and yet it still happens this just started within the last several weeks.  I don't have this issue with any other webpages just the comcast /xfinity  one.  I have to say it is one of the worst websites that I have to use and I use many of them.  Just reporting this and not holding my breath that it will change, I hate to say.

Thank you for reaching out to our Community Forum so we can help with your online account experience, @fedup978! I'd be losing my mind if that was happening to me so I want to make sure we get to the bottom of this. Are you having these issues on a mobile browser or a desktop browser? Are you having the same issue with other usernames on your account or just one in particular?

@XfinityEmilyB​ I am using a desk top browser, I am the primary user.  I tried signing in and it went to the same question set, then said it would not sign me in so I closed the tab.  I opened a new tab went to the sign in screen put my username in hit next and it logged me into the system without using my password.  That says to me that my first session was still active and I was not logged out.  Which I would think is a big security issue.  Also why does this web site cause so many different tabs to be opened up?  That is another weird thing about the comcast/xfinity website.

I really appreciate those observations. Can you tell me a little more about what kind of tabs you are getting? I know there are certain functions that will happen outside your primary 'My Account' page, things like Comcast email, Xfinity Stream, support documents, etc. Some of those will require an additional login. Are you getting new tabs when navigating to things like billing statements or contact info?

No new tabs when going  to the billing or contact info.  it is to everything else that new tabs get opened up and when I exit one of the or close the main tab it does not always close all the tabs that I was forced to open.  That leaves a security issue as I have found when I go into the comcast site again I don't have to input my password.   This is the ONLY website that I access that has that happen.  All other sites I go to don't cause other tabs to open and when I sign out from the account and other areas are not left open.

Hello, @fedup978. I appreciate all the detailed information you have provided. Do you have more than one Xfinity ID on your account? Depending on the user roles on the IDs information may not be accessible.
