Incorrect Membership Tenure — Request for Tenure Restoration from Platinum to Diamond
Incorrect Membership Tenure — Request for Tenure Restoration
We have been continuous Comcast/Xfinity customers since 2007, but our Xfinity Membership currently shows our tenure beginning in 2018.
Our history is:
- Old residence/account: 2007–2020
- Current residence/account: 2018–present
- The two accounts therefore overlapped for about two years
- There was never any break in Xfinity service, much less a 90-day break
The store in Orleans, MA told us that Membership tenure must be continuous on a single account number and that prior accounts cannot be counted. However, I cannot find that requirement in the published Xfinity Membership FAQ. The FAQ refers to “continual service with us,” provides a 90-day rule for customers who leave Xfinity, and also addresses customers with multiple accounts.
Could an Xfinity representative please review our account history and open a tenure restoration/correction ticket if appropriate?
This is time-sensitive because the current Platinum designation, rather than Diamond, affects our eligibility for a current Xfinity Mobile/iPhone promotion.
I can provide both account numbers, service addresses, and old Comcast/Xfinity bills documenting the overlapping service privately.
