Impossible PW Reset

I spent 2 hours today on the phone with comcast.   It isn't normally easy to get a human on the phone.  I spoke to 4 or 5 and only 1 was helpful.    She called back too.  While I was on the phone with billing in obviously mumbai?    The accent was thick and he couldn't understand the basis of what the heck was wrong. 

The gal that forwarded me to billing wanted to know what my earlier comcast acct number was.  Years ago I had a comcast internet account.  I left and went to CL.... HISSSSssss.  Anyway I came back to comcast due to CL's massive charges being added on just like comcast is now adding next week.

So the issue here is this.  I had a comcast account a long time ago.  I left I re turned and  got service at the same location again.  Instead I had a new account number and acct name.  I continued as internet services used to keep your email going and used the same address I formerly had. 

The problem began this weekend after citrix hack.   Regardless of calling and spending 2 hours on the phone I could not get my old account number.  Honestly I just found a statemnet more recent like 2015.  Its probably this acct and on the statement it doesn't say an acct number to comcast.  just comcast and 30 bucks or whatever.  Im now at $ 62 an getting charged another 14 next week each month for this service.

The password issue is when I attempt to reset the password on the email I have used for many years at comcast.net.  It fails claiming I need to talk to the primary acct owner.  Well I was the primary acct holder of that secondary email address.  So  the software I just bought has its instructions for licensing it and the code stuck in the comcast.net address.

The credit card company changed banks several times over the years/  if I am lucky I have one from the beginning that is different and gives that acct number.  But really this is getting absurd and I cannot repair my truck without contacting forscan.org to send me the directions and code again.

So I am stuck at this point.  But definitely thinking of getting internet service elsewhere or abandoning it altogether.  After all the phone is there.  Incidentally [Edited: "Language"] assitant sends link to me to install comcast app.  I dont want some app added but I tried it because I'll try whatever it takes to get accesss back.  No help what [Edited: "Language"].

The support help didn't help/  Comcast assitant is [Edited: "Inflammatory"]/  would you like to ask me a question that contains only 3 words? 

So the staff [Edited: "Inflammatory"].  The execs [Edited: "Inflammatory"].   The guy on the other side of the phone spent more time apolgizing and trying to be nice than even understanding the issue at hand.   And I want to give you 76 bucks a month starting in January?  Think again.
