I received an email about a cancellation request...

As the subject states I received an email stating "We received your cancellation request" but I did not send a cancellation request.  Everything I can look at seems to make this a legitimate email, cut I'm not finding anything on my account stating that a cancellation request was made.  Is there a way to tell if this is a phishing attempt, since the email address it was sent from is the same as the email address I get all of my communications from.

Hello 2user_f2b3f1, thanks for reaching out for help with your account. I can definitely see why an email like this would raise some concerns, and we will be glad to take a look at this in more detail. Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "direct messaging" icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message

Please let me know if you have any questions or run into any problems.

I too have received an email about a cancellation I did not request. I am hard pressed to figure out how to contact anyone at Xfinity. There is nothing on my account info that indicates a cancellation has been activated.
