how to move secondary email to new account

Transfer secondary email address to another Comcast account

Years ago I set up secondary email addresses for my two children.  Now they are adults with their own homes, Comcast accounts and internet service.   They want to use the email addresses that they have used for years but it is becoming more problematic when I am the one getting email alerts (primary email) that a change has been made to a secondary email address.  In addition, they would like the option of promoting their long-standing email address as their primary email address since they had to come up with a random unique email when they opened their accounts and now never use other than for Comcast account management.

Is there any way to transfer (e.g. give) a secondary email address that I own to another Comcast primary account holder?

Good evening @jill-ill. I hope you are enjoying your night. We truly appreciate you reaching out to our team of Digital Care experts here on our Community Forums page. We are here and happy to help with your Xfinity account questions/needs.

You asked a great question pertaining to taking your secordary Comcast email and transferring it over to another primary Comcast account. This can be done from this helpful link; How To Link, Unlink and Switch Between Multiple Xfinity Accounts - Xfinity Support which will take you through the steps to link over that infomation. If you run into any issues please let us know.

@XfinityKrystal Thank you for your response.  I understand what you linked to - but I am unclear what I actually need to do to make this happen.  Assuming the account I have is called MOM and it has associated with it an email address called [Edited: "Personal Information"].  My son has his own account at this address called GROWNUP and it has an email address associated with it called [Edited: "Personal Information"].  But he wants to get the [Edited: "Personal Information"] moved from the MOM account over to the GROWNUP account.  Can you walk me through the order that we link and unlink these accounts to make this transfer happen???

I understand you are having a bit of trouble transferring your kid's user ID to their accounts from your account. I would like to look a bit further into your account specifically.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

I no longer work for Comcast.

I am an Official Xfinity Employee.

For those who come across this thread - was able to get this resolved.  The number to call was 844-963-0185 which is the higher level of support for Comcast Security Assistance Team.  Was great to work with and took about a half an hour.  Had my son by my side - which I highly recommend as they needed info from both of us.
