How can I close my Xfinity account if I have moved abroad?

I have moved permanently from US to India and I have tried every possible way to close my Xfinity account but I am not able to. Every way to contact the customer service seems to lead to a circular loop of automated systems which lead to nothing. They intentionally built the system in a way that it is impossible to cancel a subscription and they can keep charging the customer even when they are not availing the services. My next bill will be posted on 7 August 2024. That's why I am making this post as an evidence that I tried enough but Xfinity won't let me cancel the account. I hope this post will serve as a proof.

To send a "Direct Message" message:

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
