help with streamSaver

Earlier this year, i claimed a diamond tier reward of streamsaver. A couple months ago i moved to a new house, During the Xfinity service transfer from the old adress to the new adress i somehow lost my streamsaver add on but was able to regain it. A few weeks ago i had to reboot my tv, After the reboot my tv signed my out of all my streaming apps. One app was peacock, which is included

with streamsaver, When i logged back into peacock it didn't show that i had a subscription threw xfinity

I thought that if i remove the re add streamer to my plan it would fix that problem. I also thought i had to delete/close the peacock account i used to link the subscription permanently. I thought That closing/deleting the account would unlink the subscription from streamsaver from the peacock account automatically.

I talked to a peacock customer service agent today, and they said that they couldn't find a paid for account under the email i used and that the account was still open/active. Yesterday i received a email confirming the completion of my peacock account being closed permanently. Im not able to use a different email to activate peacock as every time i try to i get an error message saying "Your activation is already linked to another account". I'm also not able to reopen the closed/deleted account i used originally. I need help to reopen that account so i can reactivate my peacock subscription that's included with streamsaver.

Good afternoon @user_qngfzk, and thank you for reaching out to our dedicated Communities team, we appreciate it. I'm sorry to hear about the issues with your Peacock account and our team will do our best to help. To confirm, did you reactivate your Streamsaver yet? Is there another email you can use for your Peacock subscription?

Yes. I was able to reactivate Netflix and Apple TV.  With help from an Xfinity agent I figured out I need to unlink the peacock account from my xfinity account.

Awesome @user_qngfzk, I'm glad to hear that you were able to reactivate your Netflix and Apple TV. I'm glad you were able to connect with an agent as well to assist with your Peacock concerns. To confirm, is your Peacock working again or are you still receiving an error?

I’m still having trouble with peacock. The email I used to make the peacock account I later deleted is the same email as my Xfinity account. I tried to activate with multiple different emails but every time I tried I got the error message “ Your Xfinity account is already linked to another peacock account.”

Thank you for confirming you are still having trouble with Peacock and receiving the same error @user_qngfzk, I appreciate it. To confirm, are you using your XFINITY ID to try to activate the subscription? Are you also able to try clearing cache and cookies on your browser and then trying to reactivate through xfinity.com/activate-peacock?

Hello. Yes, I am using my Xfinity ID to try to activate the subscription. I have not tried clearing cache and cookies on my browser.

Great! user_qngfzk If you can clear the cache and cookies, and then follow the steps listed below:

Access the Xfinity Assistant from here: https://www.xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/
*Check for an "Activate Now" on banner that states "Your Peacock subscription is ready for activation". Click the banner if it appears, if it does not the Xfinity Reward may already be activated.
*If the banner was clicked, that should route you to the Peacock website to continue activation.
*You will then be promoted to enter your email and password associated with your Peacock account. Once logged, you can verify your Peacock subscription by clicking “Account,” navigating to “Plans & Payment”, and confirming monthly charges = $0.00.
If there is no banner after accessing the Xfinity Assistant, the Xfinity Reward may already be activated.
*Go to https://www.peacocktv.com/ and click “Sign In”
*Enter email address and password associated with your Peacock account. This may be the same login as Xfinity, it may not be. If you have multiple email addresses, please try them all.
*Once logged, you can verify your Peacock subscription by clicking “Account,” navigating to “Plans & Payment”, and confirming monthly charges = $0.00
