Generic 2FA application setup

I just moved to a new iPhone and can't find how to get a QR or seed for 2FA to load into my authenticator application.  That app on my old phone already has an XFinity code, so it must have been offered as just a QR code in the past, but now I can't find any path except to install yet another (XFinity's) authenticator.

How can I get a QR or manual seed for use on my new phone?

Hi, @MSlick. Thank you for reaching out with this great question. You should be able to download the app to register this device for the Xfinity Authenticator and multi-factor authentication as you can see here: https://comca.st/3JGSm8a. To confirm, are you using the Xfinity Authenticator or a 3rd party application?

No, I specifically do not want to install the XFinity authenticator app.  I already have a compatible authenticator app installed & loaded with the codes for about 30 other services.  XFinity is the only service I haven't been able to re-establish in my existing authenticator app.

How do I get XFinity to display the QR code or pass code needed to add XFinity to my existing authenticator?  I was able to do this at some point in the past year for my previous phone, and just want to re-establish that account on my new phone.

Got it. Thank you for following up. At this time, I don't see that we support 3rd party authenticator apps. I understand you stated you've done it previous; however, I don't see the option to generate a QR code or key for this situation. We do recommend using our Xfinity Authenticator App for your Xfinity Account.
