Can't get verification code by text or email. Been through all the suggestions. Help please

Help! I'm experiencing the same issue. "failed to generate verification code" on both phone and email.

Bonus - when attempting to logon for "help" - I'm asked to enter the verification code, which of course I'm not able to receive.

Frustrating.

Update - after hours of attempting to get an activation code, it just worked - for the first time in many hours and many, many attempts.
