Email notification

I received an email saying I will not have access to my email after today because I have not updated my account with password, etc.  Is this legitimate?

Hello @jzehnder. Thank you for reaching out on our Community Forum, This may be true as your email will deactivate if you do not sign in to it once every nine months and keep it updated with a new password.

When Xfinity Abby says "sign in to it" she means sign in to webmail at least every nine months.  Even though you might use a third party email app, it doesn't actually "sign in".

If you already sign in to webmail you won't have anything to worry about.
