Email Inaccessible. Redirects to Homepage.

I have an old email on this account that I need to access from time to time but at the minute it seems inaccessible. When I click on the email option, it simply redirects to the homepage, with the URL being this. https://my.xfinity.com/?cid=cust This problem persists across browsers and devices and an attempt to access my email with Mozilla Thunderbird proved unsuccessful. Signing in on my newer account's email, which my service is currently on proved successful so it seems to be something about this older account specifically. I still need access to this old email. What can I do?

The redirect that you are getting is so you can login to the account to access your email. You would need to enter the username and password for the account you are trying to access. 

To keep each email account active you want to make sure that you login to your email account at least once every 12 months. To access your email directly you can go to Xfinity Connect Website.

@XfinityDannyB​ When I am redirected to the homepage I show that I am still signed in and am at no point prompted to sign in. Is there something I should be doing when redirected to the homepage?

Thank you for letting me know. The Xfinity home page should have some icons along the top of the screen one of them that looks like an envelope that should take your email. 

You can also use the Xfinity Connect Website to access your mail directly.

Clicking both that direct link, or the mail icon still ends up taking me to  https://my.xfinity.com/?cid=cust after a screen that says "Loading Xfinity Connect" located at https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/

Gotcha! To confirm, is the email account you're attempting to access associated with a disconnected account, or a current active account?
If the service account has been disconnected, and the email account had not been accessed within 90 days of the disconnect, then the email account would no longer be available. 
However, if you DID access it within 90 days of the service disconnect, then of course, it would remain active, and you'd continue to have access to the email address as long as it was accessed at least once every 9 months.

The account is disconnected however it was accessed within 90 days of disconnect and has seen some use from time to time afterwards due to the amount of accounts associated with it, however I do not know for certain when the email was last accessed. If the account has been deactivated is there a way to reactivate it?
