Dormant account (created to price check but never activated service), need to re-open service at a new address

Hi,

Some number of years ago I created an Xfinity account to price check for service at a previous address.  I ended up never activating my service (the customer service agents for some reason started the service, but I never once called to activate, never once attempted to use it, and returned the equipment to a local Xfinity store).  I contested the bill on grounds that I never activated the service and I thought that was that.

Now I'm moving and I'm trying to shop for service at my new apartment.  The website shows my account number and still linked to my old address, but with zero balance and zero services.  When I click the links to move service or add services I'm redirected to a failure page.  Can you please advise if its possible to resurrect my account, or start a new account at the new address?
