Discovery Hub ???

Xfinity is my home page. It seems the old home page has been replaced by something called Discovery Hub. This happen to anyone else.

Yes & so far I don't like it. It seems to be more of a selling site. I want my games & local / world news back. I can't seem to find them or know how to get to them on this new site.

I have one PC that does it and another that doesn't.  On the PC that does it, I've cleared cookies to no avail.  It doesn't do it in Chrome and works in Edge if you open a New InPrivate Window.  Doesn't help that the user is 81 years old and has trouble in general.

This is a bit strange. I have 2 laptops & one of them have switched over to the Discovery Hub & the other one still has the original xfinity site on. I still see the news, games etc... Maybe just don't click on "discovery hub?" I know I clicked on it out of curiosity. Actually this is probably a fluke. I'm sure my other laptop will switch over to the hub..

Just an FYI, you can find games at https://games.xfinity.com/ .  As far as I know they aren't going away.

This Discovery Hub is totally useless. It's a non stop commercial. If this does not get fixed I'll be looking for a new provider.

I hate the Hub!!!!!

To remove Clear your computer's "Cache" then you can login to MyXfinity then set MyXfinity to your Home Page for your Browser.

I used CCleaner to Clear my "CACHE"

I agree...the discovery hub should be an option...not forced on us...I loved xfinity home page...I don't use mobile...I use a PC. Xfinity home was my 1st stop every day for weather and headline news...now there is nothing there I'd use except a link for my mail.   I hate the discovery hub, and unlikely will use it for any purpose other than mail.

My previous home page:

Quick and easy way to get current news, weather, sports, etc.

Easy access to email, phone, tv

Useful every day

Hub:

Xfinity links

For me, useful 1 day a month when I pay my bill.

Solution, keep the previous homepage and add a link for the Hub on it.

I hate this Discovery Hub home page SO much! Starting at the top, I don't need a banner giving me direction on how to find my email every. single. time. Can't I just say "got it"? And no way to tell at a glance if I have new emails like the old home page. The point of this page seems to be sales pitches for xfinity products. If I want that [Edited: Language], I know where to find it. I want to see latest news, weather, etc. like on the old page.  Also, the "search the web" bar doesn't work. It just opens a new tab of.....Discovery Hub. Totally useless.  Hate, despise, and detest the Hub. Was there NO Beta testing on this thing? Whoever thought this was a great replacement for the old home page should be fired,. Looking for alternatives.

Yes, and Discovery Hub  did not link to the internet.  It has many flaws.

As with everyone else, I agree that this change was a bad idea. I frequently go to Yahoo which has more miscellaneous news than Xfinity. Now it will be my home page. Sadly, I will have to use Xfinity for some of my emails even though getting to email through Discovery Hub is a pain in the asteroid.

The Hub is one huge Xfinity ad .... not what I want to see every time I log onto the Internet.  I want news / sports / entertainment headlines!!!  If there were a different cable provider in my area I would gladly switch.  Xfinity prices keep going up but services gets worse as do the homepage features.  Funny how years ago Ma Bell had to split and yet cable companies set up in one area and they are the only option. I too will try setting up MSN as my homepage and just log into my email via MSN.  I don't even need the Hub once a month as I do auto page but ... if / when I do need to look up services, etc. it was very easy with the old My Xfinity homepage ... I could easily find anything I wanted / needed.  My computer is my Internet source and it is a shame that Xfinity couldn't, at the least, ask customers what they want on the homepage and go from there .... if they felt they needed to change it.  The new homepage is a waste ... it's not my "homepage" ... it's Xfinity's and Xfinity's only.

New "discovery hub" is a really bad choice for xfinity to make in all aspects!  I am not using it and reassigning my home page.  

Bring back the old homepage!
