Deactivate Peacock Premium Add-On

I am a gigabit internet customer and I signed up for the Peacock Premium add-on and I need to deactivate the add-on in order to purchase a plan directly through Peacock. It seems as if you have not provided a single ounce of help to anyone with this issue, but I’m feeling optimistic so I’m trying anyway. I’m not interested in an alternative solution, only how to remove the free Peacock Premium add-on from my account ASAP.

Hello, @user_624788. I can understand the need to be able to manage your subscription if you want to be billed directly. Are you able to try the steps found here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/peacock-manage-subscription? You did not address my problem. I don’t subscribe to Peacock through X1. I am an internet only customer, and I received Peacock as a free add-on. There are no instructions about how to remove this type of subscription.

As the instructions indicated above, you would need to manage your subscription and cancel it if your goal is to subscribe to Peacock streaming separately. Here are the steps if you are having any difficulty navigating the link: 

  • Log in to your account.

  • Go to Plans & Payments.

  • Select Change or Cancel Plan

  • Select Cancel Plan.

  • Once confirmed, you will see a confirmation message on the screen and receive a confirmation email, which may take a few hours. Your plan will not renew at the end of your current billing cycle.

Again, not my question. I already added peacock as an add-on through Xfinity. I want to deactivate it from Xfinity.

I think maybe Xfinity support doesn’t understand that there are multiple ways to subscribe to peacock. I do NOT have Xfinity tv. I was offered peacock premium for free because I’m a gigabit internet customer and I want to remove it. There are no options to do this- I’ve read all the instructions.
