Comcast Email

I have not received an email to change my Comcast email to a Yahoo account. I use my email daily, and it should still be active. My Comcast email will not connect to any third-party app. It says either the server cannot be reached or that my credentials are not correct. How do I fix this or speak to a customer service rep to help sort this out.

Thanks for meeting us here in our community about your email concerns, @user_5razkb. Here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email is a helpful article to ensure your setup is correct.

@XfinityLinda I have used this article already and am still having issues. All the settings for setting up the email account are correct. I have had my Comcast email set up on the specific device and third-party app for years, and it has just stopped working.

user_5razkb I always recommend checking to make sure you can access your email directly by going to https://www.xfinity.com/email. If you can access your email directly there, it would either be a setting or a password that needs to be updated, or the other email provider's servers are having issues.

With credential errors, the passwords are commonly the issue. Keep in mind that if you changed your password to access your email at Xfinity.com, all your passwords saved in the email settings also need to be updated. Depending on your settings, that can be in more than one place.

If this is impacting all 3rd party email apps, there is an option you may need to enable. Check out the steps here.
